Willow Glen HS demo 2006
While driving around looking for garage sales with my wife, i found this school demo by chance. they had ripped up all the grass in the fields. the school itself dates to maybe the 1920's? spend 2-3 months digging with Warren of Sj and Rick.
- 1897 dog licenses
one night at the coleman dump gave up 5 dog licenses from 1897. also in pic are cigar cases, tokens, cents, keys...
- peddlers licence
san francisco licence from 1906. other stuff from new 2005 dump.
- watch fob and chauffeur badge
the chauffeur badge was dug by my good friend Al. i was excited for him, cause it was his first. i think it came out looking pretty good. the other items were dug by me.
- horsejumper pin
found this victorian pin at a site in santa clara Cal., where i recently dug an 1856 dime.
- Alum Rock Park finds
this park is like a smaller version of golden gate park. this time i dug a 1913 buffalo, SJ token, and a P.P.I.E. medal(Panama Pacific International Exposition).
- airport lot stuff
SJ has a very large area that was once an old neighborhood(torn down). recent trench digging brought this stuff up.
- San Mateo medal
dug at the football field at san jose high. this field was built over a very old residential area.
- 1934-35 Chauffeur badge
hit a new site in san jose in august 2004. the dirt is oily in some spots and has preserved the metal very well. this badge is in excellent condition and still has the pin on the back.
- SJ demo things
a new demo we hunted in Aug. 2004. this place had some older stuff like barbers and V nickels. this scan was a typical day.

all kinds of stuff from a new demo. this place is so big and packed with stuff. i'm sure i'll be scanning alot of pics soon
- the olive grove
meager finds at the olive grove. its still better than working.
a strange large plate i dug a demo in san jose
there was a huge 1800's dump uncovered by caltrans in west oakland. everyone hit it and lots of cools things were dug. what great time we had out there.
victorian era items found during may 2003. 2 homes demo'd in SJ dating back to 1880.
