This is my first seated coin and happens to be the oldest U.S. coin that I've found. It was found in San Jose, CA next to a main thoroughfare that existed during the early days of the city. (Brian invited me to this site) Around the time this coin was minted, San Jose had a population of roughly 8,000 people. This was definitely an exciting find.
