Old Bottles
- Dr. Kilmer's swamp root cure
Oh wow, its been a long time since i've been bottle digging. 4-21-08 dug this awesome kilmer's, something i've wanted for years.
- Kilmer's hole
so here's the other stuff dug from the hole where Dr. Kilmer came from. Mellins food, chamberlains, castorias, olive oil, pumpkin seed and plain janes.
- French pot lid
a cool small french pot lid found at the coleman dump. also have some tokens and buttons.
- chianti wine
one of several bulb wines i dug from the colemam dump.
- shaving cream pot lid
after getting those 2 cherry lids, i never thought i'd be lucky enough to get a third pot lid. this one is incredible.
- 2 cherry pot lids
another day at the coleman dump gave up these two pot lids. the very next day gave up one the nicest pot lids i've ever seen.
- duffy whiskey
the big "coleman" dump of 2005, gave some more goodies. this time it was another marmalade jar and duffy whiskey
- squat beers and others
april 05, finally found the spot where the glass was not broken. dug many bottles that day like: mexican mustang liniment,volcanic liniment,florida water,maltin chemists,squat beers,ponds extract
- beer stoppers
2 days at the new site in 05, gave up these stoppers.
- Pontils and other stuff
Feb.2005, Another day, another city, with Al. we hit a very old site dating to the 1850's. Al dug an awesome soda. i dug many 1880's era and 2 1860's pontiled sauces. other bottles include: paines celery compound,blackcherry bitter, bile beans, hostetter's sample and assorted medicines.

- Hoyt's Cologne
Found a silver detecting. hit an old bottle hole and dug a straggler. interesting, cause i dug this same bottle later in the week at a completely different site.
- Outhouse Digs
Me and my new digging partner AL, probed out a new pit. somehow this house went unfound, by all the other bottle diggers. this pic is of day one. we many large intact bottles. the top prize was an aqua soda, Paul Jenickee from san jose.(too bad not amber)

Finished off the hole or at least most of it. not as good as day one. more inks, medical discovery, olive oil, ornate dish.
- Syfert city hall
dug this on nov.19 at really cool dump site. this bottle is dated 1881 and is probably the best looking bottle i've ever dug.
- iglo ink and soda
more bottles dug at same spot the syfert came from. got a broke iglo ink, "national soda works"(stockton cal.) snuff, "furniture reviver, and few others
- Paines Celery Compound
dug in Aug. 2004. me and a friend(doug) probed out a site in a empty lot in old san jose. besides the celery, i dug a peppersauce and 2 cone inks.
- nervine
1 day after digging the celery compound i went back. no great bottles, but some some nice stuff. got a nice german swirl marble and badge that says A.O.U.W.
- chinese pot lid
originally i thought this was a small pot. a chinese pottery collector says this is probably just the lid to a larger pot. came from a giant dump in san jose, 2004.
- Charles Vath soda
a crown top chas. vath soda. top was busted, but we had/have never seen this one before.
- a big cobalt
a really nice large un embossed cobalt and some other stuff
- Umbrella ink and more
the Oakland dump just keeps on giving. here is 2 days total. several inks- a stone cone, amber cone ink, 8 sided smooth based umbrella ink, master stone ink, 6 common cone inks, syrup of figs and a Jesse Moore hunt whiskey.
- Warner's Safe
another day at the oakland dump. this time i scored a nice warner's safe,a cone ink, stone master ink and a chicago medicine.
- oakland digs
digs from the famous oakland dump. found four awesome inks,including one amber. also a ginger beer with the lead seal still intact, a "tricopherous for the skin and hair", a "scotts emulsion cod liver oil" and a widely sought after cherry tooth paste lid, with the base!

dug 12 ginger beers, including a giant one. dug a rare intact glazed clay bean pot and a "otto of rose" cold cream pot lid.

ooohhh some bottle diggers left these behind. an 1850's eagle soda,shnapps, and ink well
